ANYONE for tennis? That's the cry going up at The Meffan in Forfar as a new exhibition highlighting tennis in the town opens to co-incide with the tennis season.
The exhibition was inspired by former Forfar tennis player Mrs Pat Bell who traced trophies belonging to Forfar Tennis Club and who ensured they were placed in safe keeping.

Mrs Bell also gathered together a number of pieces of memorabilia which feature in the exhibition.

The Forfar Tennis Club trophies, some of which were won by Mrs Bell, are at the centre of the display along with racquets, photographs and other tennis related objects.

The display will run until Saturday, August 30.

The Meffan is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm and admission is free.

Mrs Bell was among the first to view the new exhibition which is on the ground floor at The Meffan.

She said: "The cups are now being cared for and, although the exhibition can't be up all the time, I feel it is important that people should be able to see them."
