The Dundee branch of the RSPB, which covers the Angus area, will this weekend be at home on the range at Barry Buddon near Carnoustie.
Members will join up with the Angus and Dundee Bird Club, the Scottish Wildlife Trust, Dundee Naturalists
and the Scottish Ornithologists Club for the outing on Sunday at 10am.
Once a year the Ministry of Defence allows local nature conservation groups to have access to the site which is rich in flora and fauna.
Members will be free to spot birds, moths and butterflies, plants and pond life and should meet at the Monifieth football pitch car park at 10am suitable equipped wtih waterproof clothing and a packed lunch.
