Forfar Community Campus’ Ethos Group is to hold walk-in sessions at the town’s Reid Hall to invite people to get involved in the future of the multi-million-pound resource.
The new £38.9m community campus is due to open early next year and will incorporate the replacement for Forfar Academy, Lochside Leisure Centre and Forfar Swimming Pool.
The walk-in sessions will give people a chance to find out more about the campus as well as an opportunity to have a say in its ethos and values and the activities it will offer.
The Ethos Group was established to develop the vision and values for the new campus and includes representatives from Forfar Academy staff, pupils and parents, ANGUSalive, Angus Council Communities and Forfar Community Council.
Holding the sessions on Tuesday, August 23, gives them a chance to showcase campus designs and plans, transport and bus routes
There are already plans afoot for a Memory Lane at the new campus, so contributions, including old photographs would be very welcome.
Sessions run from 10am to 12 noon, 2 to 4pm, and 6 to 8pm.
Coffee and cakes are being served up by the pupils.
