The Scottish Transport Extravaganza continues to cast its spell over classic vehicle enthusiasts, with around 20,000 attending the event at the weekend.

Boosted yet again by good weather on both days, the grounds of Glamis Castle were once again thronged for the 41st extravaganza which drew attendees from across the country.

One of the biggest events of its kind inScotland, the extravaganza drew an entry of 1400 vehicles, including motorcycles and bicycles, covering a range of classes as well as owners’ clubs and an impressive array of trade and autojumble stands.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the arrival of some of the entrants in the Carbage run - a five day rally involving 500 colourfully decorated cars and vans - who stopped off on their way from Holland to Aberdeen.
