Preparations for the Christmas Fayre at Tannadice Primary School on Friday, November 18 are now well under way.

With 27 confirmed stalls the Tannadice Parent Staff Association are providing the community with a one stop shop for all your Christmas shopping needs.

Among the items on sale will be handbags, candles, books, cards, teddies, beauty products, jewellery and cakes and candies, amongst others.

Sanpado florists from Brechin will be taking orders for Christmas wreaths and Old Stable Photography will be setting up a winter scene for family portraits at a special rate - ideal family gifts with very special package prices.

There will also be a very special visitor for the children as Santa will be on hand to gather in letters in time for Christmas Eve! Look out for him in Santa’s grotto.

The association will be running a tombola stall and lucky dip and there will also be school calendars and each child’s personalised Christmas cards for sale.

The fayre will run in the school from 6 to 8 pm. All the funds raised will be used to help purchase school equipment, trips away and specialist activities. The admission charge is £2 which includes refreshments (children free).
