CHARITY shop bosses are hoping ‘spring-clean fever’ will encourage customers across Angus to recycle and donate clothes they no longer wear to their local Barnardo’s store.
As well as calling for locals to have a spring-clean of their wardrobes, Barnardo’s Scotland shops are launching their new spring collection of quality clothes and goods.
Barnardo’s Scotland Area Business Manager, Jane Pirie, said: “We hope that families planning to spring clean their homes now will also be hoping to spring clean their wardrobes too. So, when they drop of their donations, they’ll be able to have a browse of the spring/summer collection in the shops knowing exactly what they need and that their wardrobes have space to take their new purchases.”
All money raised in Barnardo’s Scotland shops goes towards the charity’s vital work with children, young people and families in the local area.
