WHILE playing over Kirriemuir Golf Course, last week, Adam Sangster, president of Kirriemuir Players’ Golf Club, holed the 16th with his tee shot.
He was accompanied on his round by David R. Thomas, Andy Dickson and Graham Smith.
FORFAR Boys’ Club under-13s leave for their annual Easter weekend break this Friday.
They are travelling to Paisley where they will be guests of Bishopton Boys Club.
In addition to playing matches against Bishopton Boys and Erskine Boys, they will also play in an indoor five-a-side tournament at Erskine Academy on the Saturday evening, the opposition including Erskine boys and a team from Erskine Quarries Home.

A WELL-KNOWN Forfar golfer, who was killed in a road accident last year, has been remembered by members and friends of his home club.
In memory of David Black, a bench has been placed near the fifth hole at Cunninghill by both his friends and family.
The bench was dedicated on Saturday, on the opening day of the new season at Forfar Golf Club.
THREE former Forfar Athletic players could feature in a special match to celebrate the Highland League’s centenary next month.
Dave Morland, Brian Grant and Alan Leslie all featured in the East v. West trial match at Elgin last week.
THE ANGUS Cycling Club’s run this week was to Glen Clova.
They went out the Brechin road and up the Forestmuir road, past Inverarity and up to Dykehead.

THE FIRST ever sports ladies dinner, held by Forfar Athletic Football Club in the Reid Hall, Forfar, was a great success.
The function was a sellout and, by all accounts, the ladies had a ball!
Forfar Athletic vice-chairman Neill Wilson confirmed last week that the event also served as a financial boost for the club, raising approximately £5,000.
THE LOCHSIDE Leisure Centre in Forfar has just the thing for getting the younger generation fit and healthy.
Following a successful taster session, the popular Aero-Kids classes will run on Tuesdays where the children can learn different activities.
FORFAR’S run-in now looks like a daunting one, a visit to leaders Raith Rovers this weekend followed by home clashes with Stranraer and Airdrie United, a trip to Stenhousemuir and a final home encounter against Cowdenbeath.
