The Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club will stage its 41st Scottish Transport Extravaganza in the magnificent grounds of Glamis Castle over the weekend of July 11 and 12.
Regarded as the premier vintage motoring spectacular in Scotland and one of the largest of its kind in Britain, the display will bring together more than 1300 vehicles representing a wide array of transport comprising veteran, vintage and classic vehicles and machinery.
More than 40 car clubs will attend the event and there will be more than 150 stands including auto jumble, motor trade, antiques and fund-raising stalls. There will also be a craft marquee where craft persons will make, display and sell their own goods.
In the ring to entertain this year will be the MSI Wolfs Stunt Show which will wow the crowds with an exciting adrenaline-filled show.
Filling each day will be the usual variety of parades and pipe bands complemented by a wonderful display of raptor birds and amusements for adults and children of all ages.
On the Saturday we welcome the Charity Companion Dog Show in aid of Dogue De Bordeaux Welfare.
To cater for the multitude of event goers a healthy selection of quality food vendors will be present to provide snacks, refreshments, full meals or simply a cool ice cream.
Holding the Extravaganza in the grounds of Glamis Castle provides a magnificent backdrop to our event and guided tours of the Castle are available to those who wish to participate.
Come along and enjoy a great day out for all the family at the Scottish Transport Extravaganza.
