Murton Farm and Nature Reserve is looking for striking photographs taken by its visitors for a new competition.

The charity, based near Forfar, is organising a spring photography competition which offers one lucky family the chance of winning an annual ticket for four to the farm.

Entries can cover a broad spectrum but should be of subjects at Murton itself and there are three categories to enter: Nature Reserve & Wildlife, Farm and Farm Animals, Family Fun at Murton.

Entries will be judged in two age groups, children (15 and under) and adults (16 and over).

Competition entries can be downloaded from the charity’s website at www.murtontrust.org.uk/index.php/2016/02/01/spring-photography-competition-murton and submitted by e-mail to Murtontrust@murtontrust.org.uk

Alternatively entries can be made in hard copy at Murton Tea Room, Arbroath Road, Forfar DD8 2RZ.

The deadline for entries is Sunday, April 17 at 4pm.

Winners will be announced on May 2 and all winning entries will be displayed in the tea room during the summer months. The exhibition will begin on Saturday, May 28.
