Nigel Don (left), MSP for Angus North and Mearns, swapped the high drama of Holyrood for Forfar Dramatic Society’s rehearsals on Sunday evening in the Lochside Leisure Centre.
The local politician was lending his support to publicise the show, Black Comedy, which opens tonight (Wednesday) and runs through to Saturday.
After meeting the cast Nigel said: “I enjoyed the rehearsal of this classic farce and hope the good people of Forfar will support their local amateur dramatic group. I greatly enjoyed watching part of the rehearsal; the players made me very welcome. The show is very funny - definitely worth seeing.”
The show runs nightly at 7.30 pm. Tickets - £8.00 adult, £6.00 concession and £25.00 family (all Wednesday tickets £6.00) – are available from Toy Castle, 86 Castle Street, Forfar, from Society members, or at the door. See Sound and Vision pages for further details.
