Pathway to development

ANGUS councillors were asked to pave the way for work on a new housing development in Kirriemuir as the Dispatch and Herald went to press yesterday.

The council’s Infrastructure Services Committee was asked to note a report concerning the stopping up of a core path and footpath at Sunnyside, Westfield and Lindsay Street which currently cross the development site. It recommends to stop up the section of core path and footpath once a new access road has been formed and is open to public use, authorise work to the section of path and, until it is stopped up, to preserve public access over a restricted width during works.
