Panto rehearsals get get under way

Forfar Musical Society is turning its attention to this year’s pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, for which rehearsals start this Monday, August 5.

The show will be performed from December 11-14 in the Reid Hall. With the principal roles having been cast, this will be the first full rehearsal, in the BB hall, Queen Street, at 7pm. There will be a children’s chorus again this year for nine to 13-year-olds, with the adult chorus beginning at age 14. An adult must accompany every child to the first rehearsal, so parents can be informed about what is involved and what is expected from children and parents during rehearsals and the week of the show. Adult chorus and principals will begin rehearsing at 8pm. This year’s production team consists of Ewan Phillips, Chloe Leuchars, Gareth Black and Carolyn McLean.
