Forfar Dramatic Society will be performing a fundraising murder mystery, ‘Sudden Death at Thornbury Manor’, by Chris Lewis and Carol Hutton, in the fabulous setting of Glamis Castle on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22.
The Society is inviting all would be sleuths to go along and pit their wits to try and solve the ‘crime’ at their murder mystery fundraising night.
Set in the early 1950s, this radio style play gives the audience the opportunity to guess ‘who done it’.
The plot surrounds the Maltravers family, owners and residents of Thornbury Manor.
Head of the household Richard has the knack of making enemies with most people he encounters, including his own family and not to mention his servants.
There are nine characters, one death, with each of the remaining characters a suspect.
Which of these characters did the foul deed? The clues are all there, can you use logic to solve the crime?
This promises to be an entertaining and light hearted evening in the wonderful setting of Glamis Castle.
The Society is extremely grateful to Glamis Castle for their help in this venture.
The surroundings of the castle make a natural setting for this period drama, helping create the perfect atmosphere that will add to the event.
Tickets are £15, and include a supper. You can secure a place at this unique event by booking online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/forfardramatic
The performances begin at 7.30 pm nightly.
