An AMAZING Lotto jackpot prize of £514,770 has now been claimed.
The winning ticket, bought in Angus, matched all six numbers in the Lotto draw on Wednesday, October 3. The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 3, 9, 11, 29, 45, 46 and the bonus ball was 19. The lucky ticket-holder had until April 1, 2013, to claim their prize.
If no-one had come forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it had generated, would have gone to The National Lottery Good Causes – adding to the impressive £28 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.
Unless the winner of a major National Lottery prize decides to take full publicity and signs an agreement to that effect, no further information can be released about their win.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win. It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-changing amount of money. We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play.”
Anyone concerned about lost or unchecked tickets may like to consider either setting up a National Lottery Subscription, playing online at www.national-lottery.co.uk or on their mobile ‘phone.
Numbers can be entered in advance and lucky winners are notified online if their numbers come up.
