With the 2012/13 season over and done with, Forfar Athletic Football Club is now turning its attentions to what is to come in 2013/14.
And it’s set to be a huge season for the club and the Second Division as a whole.
Not only are there derbies with Brechin City and Arbroath to look forward to but games against Rangers, who have been promoted, and Dunfermline Athletic who were relegated after last season’s play-offs.
A club spokesman said: “As matters stand at present, and as far as league football in Scotland is concerned, next season’s fixtures are due to be released on Wednesday, June 19, at 9 a.m.
“With this in mind the directors discussed the cost of the ever popular Station Park ‘Hospitality Package’ at a recent board meeting.
“Taking ever increasing costs into consideration they felt that they had no option but to increase the all inclusive cost of the package to £60 per person - £600 for a table of ten.
“They did give a great deal of thought to this potential increase last season, but held the cost at £55. However, they now feel that they have no other option and trust patrons will understand.
“This cost is still way below the price charged by the vast majority of clubs throughout Scotland for a similar package.”
