Primulas and polyanthus at Guild

Members of the East and Old Guild met last Wednesday evening and were welcomed by Mrs Esther Kidd, who led opening devotions.
After business, including arrangements for the Guild coffee morning on March 29, she introduced Norma Laird of Ashbrook Nursery, Arbroath. Norma gave a very interesting talk on primulas and polyanthus, showing many colourful examples, a number of which were bought by members.
Mrs Mabel Martin gave the vote of thanks.
