Dalfruin Garden in Kirriemuir will be open to the public this Sunday under Scotland’s Gardens scheme.
Open from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Dalfruin, Kirktonhill Road, is a delightful small spring garden. Trilliums and meconopsis and a collection of ferns are among the less common plants to be found there. Admission is £3 with free entry for accompanied children free. There is also disabled access.
The afternoon will feature home-made teas and plant stall to help the owners to raise money for St Mary’s Episcopal Church as well as the Scotland’s Gardens charities.
From centre of Kirriemuir turn left up The Roods; Kirktonhill Road is on the left near the top of the hill. Parking should be on The Roods or at St Mary’s Episcopal Church. Disabled parking only in Kirktonhill Road.
