Lent lunches

he Forfar Action of Churches Together have been serving soup to the public every Friday lunchtime in Lent.
The venue was St Johns Green Street hall, and the charity this year was Blythswood Care, bringing relief and development aid to families across Europe, Asia and Africa. 
The grand sum of �1,317 was raised.
Our picture shows the team from East & Old Parish Church with a selection of six home-made soups, which were available for a small donation. 
A Fairtrade stall ran as well.
