The Angus Craft Association has opened a new shop in Letham Square.
The Crafts of Angus Showcase and Shop features the work of 15 members selling items ranging from hand-crafted mirrors and wooden clocks to hats and handbags. Linda Robertson, shop co-ordinator, said: “We are delighted to be opening our new premises in Letham after moving out of our former shop at House of Dun last year. We have an amazing range of hand-crafted items on offer, all under one roof, and are very much looking forward to meeting customers old and new.”
Association members held an open evening where the guest of honour was a Viking skeleton made from driftwood by Steve Davidson. A competition was held to name the skeleton and the winner was Fiona Robertson of Eassie with ‘Plug’. She kindly donated her prize money to Lippen Care.
