YOUNG MOTORCYCLIST KILLED IN ACIDENT NEAR MEMUS
A 16-year-old motor cyclists has been killed in accident on the outskirts of Forfar.
At about 5.15 pm on Saturday on an access road to Turfachie Farm, near to Memus, the male motorcyclist was involved in a collision with a Range Rover.
As a result of the collision the male suffered serious injuries.
He was treated by ambulance but sadly died at the scene.
Crash investigators have attended at the scene and are making enquiries into the cause of the accident and any persons who may have any information are asked to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222.
As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
