Yoga classes at Eassie to beat the festive bulge

GET A spring in your step after the festive season by joining the Eassie community and get fit for 2013!

There are a few spaces available in the ENKCA yoga classes at Eassie Hall which take place on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons for those who need to de stress, relax or get fit after the festivities.

Classes are now up and running on Monday nights with tutor Joyce Brown who is from Invergowrie.

The Eassie Hall is open from 6 until 8 p.m. with classes starting at 6.15 p.m. prompt.

On Wednesday afternoons the hall opens at 1 p.m. with the class running from 1.15 until 2.45 p.m. with tutor Shona Wallace who is from Kirriemuir.

The cost per class is £4, with classes paid in blocks at £20 for five sessions for the regular members.

Both classes are based on Hatha yoga, with students working to their own ability to build up their fitness strength and stamina whilst improving flexibility, relaxing and coping with stress

Participants are asked to wear comfy non-restrictive layered clothing and to bring an exercise mat and rug, blanket or sleeping bag for the relaxation session at the end of tutorial.

All present members of the class are suffering from over indulging during the festive season so beginners are welcome.
