YET ANOTHER VINTAGE WEEKEND AT GLAMIS
IT was a bit damp on the Saturday morning, but the weather cleared up to allow vintage vehicle enthusiasts from a' the airts to enjoy another top class Scottish Transport Extravaganza in the picturesque surroundings of Glamis Castle.
The event - the 36th event of its kind organised by Strathmore Vintage Vehicle Club - is regarded as the premier vintage motoring event in Scotland and one of the largest of its kind in Britain.
And, once again it lived up to its billing, with lots for all the family to see and do.
The exciting ring entertainment was, this year, provided by James Dylan Stuntworld - making a welcome return to Glamis.
Away from the main ring, there were close on 1400 vehicles on display, representing a wide variety of transports, together with 150 stands, comprising autojumble, motor trade, antiques, fund-raising and a craft tent.
The organisers were delighted with the support the event received over the two days and, as always the competition for the many pieces of silverware up for grabs, was fierce.
