Nursery’s award
The Aberlemno Primary School nursery class has been awarded a prestigious Green Flag by Eco Schools Scotland.
Part of Keep Scotland Beautiful, Eco Schools Scotland award Green Flag status to nurseries and schools across the country which set up a variety of environmental projects.
Aberlemno was commended by judges for its range of eco projects including creating a well-structured eco action plan for different activities throughout the school, before and after photographs of the school’s eco grounds to show the progress the pupils have made so far and taking part in litter picks and keeping up to date records of the amounts collected.
Managing Director of The Green Insurance Company, June Lynch, said:
“The work the children and teachers have done to set up their projects has been fantastic and we hope all the children enjoyed working on it.”
