Should Angus Council close Letham Library and replace it with a mobile service?
This doesn't really effect me as I use Forfar library. However, the school children come along to use the library. It would also effect those who do not have transport and the elderly who may have difficulty getting the bus into Forfar and back. You can request a book at Letham and I can return a book borrowed from Forfar to Letham.
Renton Cuthill, Letham.
No. It has been a library for a while. The school children come and use it every week. Would a mobile library be used for the school children?
Helen McEwan, Letham.
I've not used the library since I was at Letham Primary School although I did go there with my daughter when she was a primary school. I don't read but I'm not making any decision. I don't disagree with having a library.
Dawn Crighton, Letham.
The library is good for the children at the school. The children come out of school into the community and so it's an important link between the school and the community. Will the mobile library have internet access? There are a lot of Latvian and Polish people in the village who use the internet at the library.
Kirsty Simpson, Letham.
