Man in Forfar loch

An INCIDENT involving a man in his forties happened at the Forfar loch today at around 2.15 p.m. this afternoon.

A Tayside Police spokesperson at the scene said: “A member of the public phoned at around 2.15 pm to say a guy walked in to the loch fully clothed. The Tayside Fire and Rescue Service dedicated water rescue team brought the man back to safety. He is away to Ninewells in Dundee. The emergency services were very impressive, first class. We will seek to get the best medical treatment for the male who was in his forties.”
