ITEMS STOLEN FROM CAR IN CEMETERY

POLICE in Forfar are investigating the theft of items from a car within the town's cemetery.

At about 5.40pm on Tuesday, a green Volkswagen car was left unattended for a ten minute period when the occupants were visiting a grave nearby.

During this time items were stolen from within the car, including a handbag, a two figure sum of cash and a mobile telephone.

If you saw anything unusual in this area between these times or if you have any other information about this crime, please get in touch with Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222 or speak to any police officer.
