Informative talk for Probus Club
LAST Tuesday, 53 members of Forfar Probus Club were welcomed by the president, Bob Kidd, who introduced the guest speaker Mr Brian Masson.
Mr Masson is a Transport Consultant and Business Improvement Specialist at University of Aberdeen and his talk was entitled ‘Integrated Transport in Europe’.
This was enhanced by showing some videos highlighting how advanced certain European cities are with such innovations as “Bus Rapid Transport” in the likes of Hamburg and how public transport is provided in rural areas with the emphasis on the elderly and disabled public.
This was a very enlightening and informative talk which resulted in a good question and answer session at the conclusion.
