GREAT COMPETITION IN THE MYRE DOG SHOW
'MAN'S best friend' was out in force in Forfar last Saturday for a very successful informal dog show held as part of The Forfar and Area Partnership Gala Week.
A total of 37 dogs were entered for 10 classes in the Myre.
All the owners entered their dogs for more than one class, which made for greater competition and a lot of fun. Some people travelled to show their dogs from as far away as Laurencekirk, although the overwhelming majority were local.
Jeanette Gaul, Chair of the Forfar and Area Partnership said: "This is the first time we have organised a dog show and we were delighted with the participation of so many people."
