Glasgow 2014 volunteer application sessions at Angus libraries

TO GO the extra mile for people in our local communities who want to apply to be a Glasgow 2014 volunteer, Angus Libraries are offering a series of Glasgow 2014 Volunteer Application Drop-in Sessions throughout February.

These sessions will allow members of the public the chance to receive support during set times to complete the online application form. Staff will be on hand to assist in the process of lodging the online application, including helping users set up their own email account.

Glasgow 2014 is looking for 15,000 friendly people to become volunteers. This is a chance to play a key part in the biggest sporting and cultural event this country has ever seen.

The online application form takes around 30 minutes to complete and applicants require information from identification documents to complete the form. Applicants also require their own unique email address and library staff can help users to set up an email account if necessary.

For more information on eligibility requirements for applicants, phone the Glasgow 2014 Contact Centre on 0303 333 2014, email contactus@glasgow2014.com or visit www.glasgow2014.com
