FOUR REMANDED ON DRUGS OFFENCES
FOUR people - three men and a woman - appeared on petition at Arbroath Sheriff Court on Monday in connection with serious drugs offences.
The four, aged 23, 28, 36 and 49, have addresses in Liverpool, Dundee and Angus.
The court appearances follow a police operation in Angus on Friday.
The charges are that between January 9 and March 5, at Tesco, Kingsway, Dundee; Stracathro Services and various other places, the four were concerned in the supply of diamorphine, a Class A drug: and that on March 5, at Stracathro Services and various other places, they were concerned in the supply of cocaine, a Class A drug.
No pleas or declarations were made, and the cases were continued for further examination.
The four were remanded in custody and are expected to appear in court again early next week.
