FORFAR ROTARY CLUB'S AWARDS TO ACADEMY PUPILS
THE first meeting of Forfar Rotary Club in their new venue at the Stag Hotel featured the presentation of awards to two pupils from Forfar Academy.
This year the Technology Award went to Andrew Callander and the Sports Trophy to Jane Ritchie.
Both pupils were selected by Forfar Academy for their outstanding individual contributions in their chosen subjects and both will now further their career prospects at university.
Each of the awardees received a book token and a framed certificate, and Jane collected the Sports Trophy.
With the closure of the Royal Hotel the club was indebted to the Stag Hotel for their assistance in managing to accommodate Rotary at such short notice and feel sure this arrangement will see the Stag become the new weekly venue for the club.
