FORFAR POOL TO CLOSE FOR FURTHER WORKS
FORFAR swimming pool will close for four weeks as from Monday of next week for further works.
The package of work includes such items as extra tiling work, painting of doors and refurbishment or replacement of door hinges, as well as some minor snagging work from the refurbishment carried out in January.
The work will also include the repainting of the pool tank following customers' comments about the new darker patchwork finish, which was applied to tie in with the pool surround.
It was decided that as further minor improvements and some snagging work were required anyway, the pool tank will be repainted at the same time.
This closure period causes the least disruption as there is no school use, swimming lessons or swimming club activities, at this time.
