DO YOU KNOW THE CALLANDER FAMILY?
A message posted on the guestbook of the Forfar Dispatch's website is calling for information regarding the Callander family of Forfar.
'Jim from Lancashire' says: "Hi everyone back home. Trying to get info on the Callanders of Forfar.
"My gran was Helen Callander but not been able to get any photos of the Callanders. Wondered if you can help.
"Many thanks."
Forfar Athletic's rise from third to second division football has also been noted on the guest book.
Dave Stewart from Newhall, South Derbyshire writes: "Congratulations Forfar Athletic on winning promotion. It will give me something to boast about, instead of suffering the build up to the world cup."
Meanwhile, Wilf Pickles from Forfar states: "Nice to see the letters page back to normal after the political parties have crawled back where they came from."
