DAY CARE CELEBRATES NESSIE'S 100TH

THERE were celebrations at Forfar Day Care Centre on Thursday past when service users and staff gathered to mark the 100th birthday of Nessie Davidson.

Nessie, who was born and brought up in Forfar, worked at a local factory until she married her late husband, Clem Davidson.

She is the first ever service user to celebrate this milestone at the centre she is pictured receiving a bouquet of flowers from Sandy Mackay, service user representative, with Day Care Manager Kathleen Fotheringham looking on.
