Crime appeals
A packet of cheese and a bucket of caustic powder were stolen from Forfar’s North Street Dairy sometime between 8.30pm on Thursday, January 19 and 1.15am on Friday, January 20.
Police are keen to trace a man who was seen in the area. He is described as being five feet 10 inches in height, of slim build, and at the time wore a light blue hooded top, dark coloured Adidas tracksuit bottoms with white stripes and white trainers.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in or around North Street, and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, to contact Tayside Police on 0300 111 2222.
Meanwhile Police are also investigating the break-in to Jack and Jill’s Elite Nursery in Forfar’s Eco Park, after thieves made off with a three figure sum in cash and two blue money tins.
The theft happened over the weekend, sometime between 8.30pm on Friday, January 20 and 7.20am Monday, January 23.
