A LOCAL man has raised money for the Senior Circle by creating a calendar using his own art work.
Stuart Whyte realised the cash for St Margaret’s Senior Circle through sales of his creation.
Stuart, who stays with his mother Mabel Whyte in Forfar, has had an interest in art for a very long time and it started when he was a young boy.
Mrs Whyte said: “Stuart started in the library with Aileen Rodger three years ago and now attends the college on West High Street where he studies art. He paid for everything involved in the production of the calendars by himself.”
Stuart compiled the calendar in order to raise funds and paid for all of the printing and materials with his own money.
Mrs Whyte added: “We would like to say a particular thanks to local businesses Tiffins and Richardson’s in Forfar for having some of Stuart’s calendars for sale.”
