BURST WATER PIPE CUTS SUPPLY IN FORFAR AND KIRRIE

SCOTTISH Water are investing a possible burst water main in Forfar following complaints that households are not receiving any water.

It is understood that properties in both Forfar and Kirriemuir are affected by the problem, which occurred sometime on Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson by Scottish Water said: "Following reports of a burst water main affecting customers in Forfar, Scottish Water engineers attended the scene.

"We are currently assessing damage which we believe has been caused by an external contractor. Our repair teams will work as quickly as possible to restore supplies directly to our customers."
