BUMPER BOOST FOR BEECHHILL RESIDENTS
THE Beechhill Residents Comfort Fund received a £576 boost last Thursday.
The money was donated by Mrs Iris Petrie, whose mother has been a resident in Beechhill Care Centre since it reopened in 2005.
Mrs Petrie recently held a 25th wedding anniversary party and asked the guests that, instead of purchasing gifts, they could make donations to the Beechhill residents comfort fund.
Mrs Petrie presented 576 to Nicky Worrall, care centre manager, and a group of residents.
The comfort fund is for the benefit of residents and is used to fund outings, trips, entertainment, birthday and Christmas celebrations.
