BEDS RESULTS AHEAD OF TANNADICE FLOWER SHOW

AHEAD of the annual flower show of Tannadice, Oathlaw and District Horticultural Society, to be staged this Saturday, the annual beds competition has been judged.

The results were as follows:-

Best kept and most attractive small flower garden - 1, Mr R. J. Whitton; 2, Mrs B. Smart; 3, Mr A. Campbell.

Best hanging basket/container - 1, Mrs B. Smart; 2, Mrs M. Alexander; 3, Mr R. J. Whitton.

Bed of onions - 1, Mr D. Whitton.

Bed of onions sets - 1, Mrs B. Smart; 2, Mrs M. Alexander; 3, Mr A. Campbell.

Row of sweet peas - 1, Mrs M. Alexander; 2, Mr A. Campbell; 3, Mrs B. Smart.

Row of beet - 1, Mrs M. Alexander; 2, Mr D. Whitton; 3, Mr A. Campbell.

Bed of shallots - 1, Mr A. Menmuir; 2, Mr A. Campbell; 3, Mr R. J. Whitton.

Bed of carrots - 1, Mrs M. Alexander; 2, Mr D. Whitton; 3, Mr R. J. Whitton.

Row of green peas - 1, Mrs M. Alexander; 2, Mr A. Campbell; 3, Mr R. J. Whitton.

The society no looks forward to the annual show will be staged in Tannadice Scout hall at the Jock Neish Centre this Saturday, from 2 pm.
