Do you think there is a need for a pedestrian crossing in central Kirriemuir?

Yes, probably. There's a very narrow area which widens out. It's potentially quite dangerous for older people.

Jenny Ralston, Kilry.

I agree there should be a crossing but I think it's too busy at the bus stop. There's also deliveries to the Co-op. I'm trying to think where the best place would be to alleviate the problem - maybe round by Kitty's Kitchen. A crossing would bring the traffic to a halt.

Richard Baer, Kirriemuir.

Yes. Because Kirrie has an elderly population and it is also a wide street to try to cross.

Linda Smith, Kirriemuir.

It's quite difficult especially for the elderly crossing the road. Kirrie has a high proportion of elderly people and that ratio is getting higher and higher. It would be much more safe with a crossing, as even mobile people like myself can get caught out and there is quite a few disabled people in the area.

Tom Curran, Airlie.
