ACTION-PACKED WEEKEND FOR STRATHMORE PRIMARY 7'S

A TOTAL of 31 Strathmore Primary 7 children spent a long weekend at Dalguise Outdoor centre from June 4 to 7.

There was an action packed itinerary of 10 activities over the weekend

which challenged the children's co-ordination and fears.

Many of the activities involved climbing to incredible heights and the

children pushed their own boundaries to go that little bit further than they felt comfortable with, showing real courage!

The children were very supportive of each other, encouraging their classmates to take that extra step.

There was a team challenge of raft building (pictured) which left

everyone (including Mrs Dallas) wet and muddy - even if their raft

remained afloat!

The children also cycled mountain bikes, tried their hand at archery and rifle shooting and returned happy and tired with a repertoire of

new, and very loud, songs!
