Five student models from Angus College strutted their stuff in the College’s Pod – the students’ social space – as part of Money Week, a series of events to help fellow students save cash, from cooking demonstrations to car mechanic tricks of the trade.

Money Week saw Barclays Bank and Scotland’s Colleges working with FE Colleges all over Britain to promote financial education and to get students thinking more about managing their money to the best effect.

The five models, from Arbroath and Kirriemuir, wanted to show the student body that you can dress for less with savvy shopping - and with a twist, as they modelled various looks whilst the audience had to guess the price of the outfit.

The right answers were surprising - all the outfits were under £20.

Students who guessed correctly won shopping vouchers for the Overgate in Dundee to purchase their own outfits for job interviews or work placements.
