It’s panto time again in Forfar as rehearsals begin

It may only be June but it’s time for Forfar Musical Society to be thinking about this year’s pantomime - Sleeping Beauty,

It will be performed in the Reid Hall from Wednesday, December 11, to Saturday, December 14.

The first rehearsal will be on Monday, June 24 to meet with this year’s production team, introduce the script to the cast and prepare for principal auditions which will take place on Monday, July 1.

This year’s production team will be Ewan Phillip, Gareth Black and Chloe Leuchars. They will be at the first rehearsal in the B.B. Hall in Queen Street at 8.30 p.m. for everyone interested in taking part. If you haven’t been on stage with the Society before and are interested in being involved on or off stage, please contact Susan Douglas (President) on (01575) 572109 with any questions you may have. Prior to the rehearsal, the society will hold its annual general meeting at 7.30 p.m. on June 24. The committee will be proposing slight amendments to the constitution which has to be agreed by members as well as discussing society events over the past year, future plans, and electing this year’s committee.
