Last summer a WW1 Ambulance driven to a pair of horses undertook an epic non-stop journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats in order to raise money for the charity Horses Help Heroes (HHH).
The drivers of this ambulance were amputees, most of whom had never had anything to do with horses before, but they had assistance from members of the British Driving Society.
The Scottish Branch of the Society are organising a talk about last summer’s journey on Sunday, January 29 from 2pm to 4pm in the Finavon Hotel in order to help raise money for the charity.
The Marines from Condor will also an insight into life in war torn Afghanistan.
