Forfar mums and babies are invited to an Easter celebration at Whitehills Health and Community Care Centre on Friday (April 18), between 2 and 3 p.m.
Mums can bring their babies in fancy dress, take part in an Easter egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny. A BookBug session will include Easter and spring songs and stories.
Mums and tots can enjoy light refreshments from Asda, thanks to their Community Life Champion Worker, Andrea Logan.
The Easter celebration will promote the Early Days Group and share information on a range of infant health topics.
The Group is free and meets at Whitehills every Friday between 1 and 3 p.m., when new mums can meet other local mums in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The group is supported by health professionals including midwives and a breastfeeding/early years support worker, Pauline Hutcheon, who said: “These celebrations are a great way to expand our weekly sessions and link with our local community. The group is focused on offering peer support and at each meeting mums have the chance to discuss health topics such as early stages of parenthood, feeding tips, sleep routines and interaction and early communication with babies.”
