Angus smokers looking to kick the habit can get support from smoking cessation groups being held across the county.

The Quit Smoking Groups are run by smoking cessation coordinators from Angus Community Health Partnership and are free.

Smoking cessation coordinator Kelly Cruickshanks said: “Giving up smoking is one of the most important lifestyle changes that can improve health. It is never too late to quit, and stopping now could add years to your life and improve your quality of life. Having support when you want to stop smoking is very important in achieving success.”
