The Tannadice, Oathlaw and District Horticultural Society’s flower show on Saturday was very well supported by competitors with a good turnout of visitors.

The trophy winners were as follows:-

Denny Shield - Best First Time Competitor, Audrey Gourlay. D B Whitton Cup - Pot Plants, Dave Robbie; runner up, Beth Smart. Mr & Mrs M Hill Cup - Flowers - Gordon Robbie. Renilson & Allardice Trophy – Flowers, Beth Smart; runner up, Gordon Robbie.

Tannadice Church Anniversary Quaich - Floral Arrangement, Karen Buckley. Mr & Mrs A Millar Cup - Fruits, Richard Buckley.

Glenogil Cup - Vegetable Collection, Dave Robbie; runner up, Gordon Anderson.

D Skea Trophy - Shallots, Gordon Anderson. Arbuckle Trophy - Onions (not sets), Dave Robbie.

Rosettes were presented to Dave Robbie (pot plants); Bill Adam (cut flowers); Charles Alexander (fruits); Dave Robbie (vegetables); Mairi Alexander (industrial); Mary Daun (produce).

The trophies were presented by Mrs Julie Smith, Barnyards.
