Angus Council tenants are invited to take part in the 2011 annual awards for council house gardens.
The closing date for applications is Friday, July 8 and the judging will take place on the week beginning July 18.
Each year awards are made to the best gardens in the county’s towns, landward areas and other categories.
Any tenants who wish their gardens to be considered for the award should contact the council’s ACCESSLine on 08452 777778.
Nominations will also be submitted by the local community housing visitor.
Councillor Jim Millar, convener of neighbourhood services, said: “I hope that all tenants with gardens, regardless of their level of expertise, will consider entering for these awards.
“Each year, we have a high standard of entries for the awards and I’m confident that this year will be no different.
“The awards give us the opportunity to thank our gardeners for their efforts which help to enhance the appearance of our towns and villages.”
