Forfar Dramatic Society is telling its Forfar Tales at Forfar Lochside Leisure Centre this week.

The show runs from Wednesday (tonight) to Saturday, nightly at 7.30 pm.

Forfar Tales is a multi-media production employing a combination of live acting, music, dance, photography and film to tell its stories.

This is an exciting and innovation piece of theatre, presented by a cast 17 actors of all ages which has been created by the company.

There should be something in this show for everyone. From the opening song – an original composition by a member of the company – to the closing sequence presented in the style of a creek chorus, the piece links a number of very individual stories together in a creative and engaging way.

Forfar Tales makes full use of the space in the Drama Studio at Forfar Lochside Leisure Centre to move through time, mood and location as it recounts an eclectic mix of material.

This show offers you a unique theatrical experience and demonstrates how modern media can add value and bring a new dimension to traditional stage performances.

It also demonstrates just how creative Forfar people can be and presents some of the richness that is in their life experiences.

Forfar Tales is a show you should be sure not to miss. It is a production by local people, about local people. It is energetic, creative and entertaining.

And it needs your support.

Tellers of tales need an audience; someone to be enthralled by their stories.

Forfar Dramatic Society wants to share its Forfar Tales with you.

Tickets are available all week from the Toy Castle, from Society members, by emailing forfardramatic@live’co.uk or at the door.
