Webster’s High School is holding a spring fair this Saturday (March 12) to help support its successful link with Litein High School in Kenya.
All proceeds from the event, which will be held at the school between 10am and 2pm, will go towards financing the project which was begun in 2008.
There will be a variety of stalls including books, home baking, games, crafts and plants and activities including face painting, sumo suit wrestling, bird box making and a car book sale.
There will even be opportunities to win great prizes including T-shirts, radios and skateboards.
The school is currently hosting staff and pupils from Litein High School who dropped in recently to Eassie Primary School with some of the Webster’s pupils who delivered a talk about the school’s continuing fund-raising to keep the link alive.
The Litein pupils also talked about their lives in Africa and took questions from the Eassie children, who have recently been taking part in a project about Africa. They then joined together for a science lesson and playtime.
